This show features dancing prancing puppets and has been on tour all over North America with Quintron and Miss Pussycat.
Happy Accident explores the exponential pace of overwhelming absurdity in our world. Found objects, large scale puppets and sputtering lights bring you face to face with the cuddly nightmare that is everyday life. An anti-clown car driven by master puppeteer liz HOWLS and co-piloted by musician/unlicensed electrician Servant Baby, Happy Accident ecstatically careens down the wrong side of the lost highway leaving a trail of old copies of Weekly World News and Jack in the Box wrappers in its wake. Colorfully reimagining Saturday mornings spent drooling over piles of synthetic material in front of the TV, Happy Accident revels in naked, antipathetic americana. You will probably laugh, you might cry, and like other designer drugs, you will want more within minutes. Ultimately you will ask yourself, “What kind of culture would produce something like this?

Based on characters created over 350 years ago, this traditional performance can best be described as a combination of Saturday morning cartoons meet professional WWF wrestling meets Jerry Springer. Mr. Punch is the ultimate “anti-hero” of the show. His “run-ins” with the other characters (including his wife Judy, his neighbor, his neighbor’s dog Toby and the local policeman) create each unique performance.
A LA CARTE: In a Fool's Kitchen is a comic battle between a clown French chef and a wily lobster set to live accordion music. This playfully interactive comedy features clowning, puppetry, music and a few unruly vegetables. A LA CARTE begins as the Chef sets the table for the Grand Opening of his 2-seat café. Before the Chef can dazzle his very important guests, dinner’s main ingredient stages a rebellion — again and again and again. Who knew crustaceans could cook up such delicious mischief?
The story of The Snowflake Man is inspired by Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley, the self-educated farmer and scientist who attracted world attention when he became the first person to photograph a single snow crystal. The Snowflake Man swings audiences into the historic 1920s through creative storytelling, intricately designed Czech-style marionettes, and a striking pop-up book of water color scenery. This UNIMA-USA award winning show combines art, science, and a little known piece of American history to magical effect!
Set in a high-rise office building, “learning to fly” introduces us to two co-workers in a shared office. They are more than business associates: their conversation is not just cordial discussion, it’s electric..
Suddenly, a tremendous explosion reverberates throughout the building, knocking them out of conversation and onto the floor. Heat and smoke become overwhelming. They should evacuate immediately but are trapped. With pre-blast flirtation still in the air, they are able to complete a couple phone calls and get enough information to cement the futility of the situation.
From this moment on their exchange is dominated by themes of survival, fate, and consequence–things that thousands of others also dealt with on this mid-September day in 2001 that changed the world as we know it. Dialogue is halted when falling human figures pass outside the 98th floor window. As the office becomes more oppressive, they make a decision to join hands, embrace freewill and take their own courageous leap from fire and smoke into fresh air.
Inspired by historical images and recordings, “learning to fly” combines multiple artistic elements (tabletop puppets, multimedia, soundscape) into one human story about the power of hope and choice in the face of death.
